Local lad Dave Sargent has lived in the town for most of his life. He trained at Cornwall College of catering, and has worked in various restaurants throughout Devon and Cornwall, specialising in seafood and patisserie.
His passion for cooking and the love of his new, young family, led to his start of a manufacturing business ‘Sargies Cornish Kitchen ‘,where, with a small team, he hand pipes meringues and make desserts too! These are all distributed from the production kitchen in Kilkhampton across the country!
Sargies private chef service soon followed, with all the luxury of going out but staying in, making for a unique dining experience, from an intimate meal for two, a family celebration or a crazy hen do!
Dave specialises in all things local, with incredible fish, amazing Westcountry meats, desserts (from Sargies! ) and an array of locally produced cheese within easy reach, he’s able to use all of these to create delicious and beautiful dishes, A true dining experience ,well worth a try…
