It is with heavy hearts we must tell you that Bude for Food Festival will not take place in 2016.
It has been a very hard decision for us to make as we are very proud of what we have created and how fondly the event is considered by you all.
Due to changes in circumstance for every member of the committee, we recognise that it is simply not possible to deliver the festival this year to the
standard that you have come to expect. Rather than disappoint anyone we prefer to take a rest year.
We welcome any assistance from those with the time, energy and passion to bring Bude for Food Festival back in 2017 and in the meantime, wish you the best for a great year.

The Bude for Food festival has a fantastic line-up of street food available. From Thailand, the Caribbean or Cornwall – feast on fab food all weekend!

With the community being integral to the success of the first festival, for the second year running we have invited community groups and charities to join us in our main marquee.
Throughout the festival there will be a chance to support the Bennett family as we have a team of volunteers selling these fabulous Benny’s Big Journey Home t-shirts.
They will be stocking both adults and kids tees. Kids sizes range from 3-4 years through to 12-14 years at £15 and adult sizes range from S-XL at £20. They are also available to purchase in Airculture in Bude.

To all the friends and good people of Bude who have offered to help us get the festival ready…..now’s the time!
We are looking for volunteers to:
- help set up on Thursday 17th & Friday 18th- assisting exhibitor loading and unloading, marquee decoration and set up, furniture moving, siting bins and signage.
- during the festival – assisting exhibitor loading and unloading, and Stewarding, toy library play n stay, children’s food workshops, litter picking and cleaning, ticket selling, furniture moving.
There will be a steward and volunteer briefing on Thursday 17th September at the main marquee at 19.30 where we will allocate and confirm roles, check people’s availability and brief people on the site, duties and weekend programme.
