We couldn’t have done it without you….thank you to all our volunteers who contributed massively to the amazing success of our annual festival. We are now looking forward to a wonderful 2016….

As Paul Ainsworth noted in his round up of his experience at Bude For Food 2014, a festival like this doesn’t just “happen”, it takes an incredible amount of commitment and passion with many volunteers  working incredibly hard to pull together as a community and showcase what we have. We should all be incredibly proud of what we all achieved.

Volunteers are crucial to the success of any festival, from the Olympics to Glastonbury, and now our very own Bude for Food event needs your help.

We are seeking volunteers to assist us before and during the festival with a variety of tasks. Volunteering takes all forms, so if you love Bude and want to help contribute to our success, why not join us and continue to make the Bude for Food festival a phenomenal event for the town? And, just so you know, all the organisers are volunteers too – none of us are getting paid and all the profits will be ploughed back into the following year’s festival and other related events.

CATS volunteers

So, we are looking for help with – stewarding and marshalling, sales, cleaning and litter picking, event management and production, audio visual, sound and stage hands, artist management, promotions and marketing.

You may want some community-based experience that will look great on your CV, you may have skills that you want to offer, or you may just want to be involved in this exciting yearly event within Bude.

Whether you can spare us a couple of hours a week, just one morning or the whole weekend of the festival then please get in touch. Alternatively if you have sales, marketing or PR skills which could help us in the run up to the festival we want to hear from you!  Please email us at hello@budeforfood.co.uk providing your contact details and areas of expertise or interest. Don’t worry, if you want to volunteer and aren’t sure what to do, we can offer training and guidance to help you with your choice.

Thank you!
